About Administrative Orders
An administrative order is defined as:
A directive necessary to administer properly the court's affairs but not inconsistent with the constitution or with court rules and administrative orders enacted by the supreme court.
– Rule 2.2.15, Florida Rules of Judicial Administration
All orders must be signed by the chief judge of the judicial circuit. Each order is recorded by the clerk of the court. A complete set of administrative orders are maintained by the clerk of the court. Administrative orders are considered public record and are available for inspection and copying.
