Congratulations to Laura Goodman, Court Program Specialist II, for being selected as the Employee of the Quarter for April-June 2024. Since Laura’s employment with the 16th Circuit in October 2019, she has proven herself to be a unique and invaluable asset to the Case Management team and the 16th Judicial Circuit. Her role as a Court Program Specialist, managing and assisting judges and magistrates in administering and timely disposing of cases in the probate, civil, guardianship, and mental health divisions, is truly exceptional.
Laura is polite, courteous, and always willing and able to help without complaint when needed. She takes pride in her work and always ensures she has done everything properly. She has also taken on such an essential role for the circuit since she took over all the Key West and Marathon mental health caseloads. She has a constantly demanding role in taking care of all the involuntary placements.
Laura’s willingness to step in and support her co-workers when they need it or are out of the office for an extended period is truly commendable. Her team spirit and dedication to the smooth functioning of our operations are greatly appreciated.
