Court Technology Services

The Court provides access to some technology services and equipment in its courtrooms as a courtesy to legal professionals and court participants. The Court will make every effort to ensure these technology services and equipment are working properly. However, the Court does not provide any guarantee as to the reliability of the technology services or equipment nor will the Court be responsible for any delays caused by any failure of these services or equipment. Anyone using this equipment is advised to have backup material suitable for use in the courtroom in the event of service or equipment failure.

Equipment and Services:

  • Wireless Internet Access
    • The Court provides guest wireless internet access for individuals conducting business inside its facilities. This wireless service is provided completely at the Court’s discretion and as a convenience. Access to the network may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason. By accessing this wireless network, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this and the following conditions of its use:
      • You agree not to use the wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful or otherwise prohibited and you are fully responsible for your use. The wireless network is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.
    • The following contacts can provide instructions for accessing our guest wireless network when you are doing business in one of our facilities.

  • Smartboards and Computer/TV Carts
    NOTE: A minimum of 24-hours advanced notice is required when reserving a Smartboard or Computer/TV Carts.
    • Smart Board – a 70 inch touch screen “Smart Board” computer on a mobile cart.
    • Computer/TV Cart – a 75 inch screen mobile TV/computer cart.
    • Attorneys are responsible for the support and operation of any technological equipment that they bring into the courtroom. The Court is not responsible for ensuring integration of court provided technology services or equipment with any equipment that an attorney brings into the courtroom.
    • To request training or a demonstration of the available equipment and request equipment for use during a trial, please contact one of our IT Team Members below.
  • Digital Presentation Systems
    • Some of our courtrooms are equipped with Digital Presentation Systems which allow you to connect wirelessly from most tablets, smartphones, or laptop computers to screenshare or present audio/video evidence for viewing in the courtroom.
    • It is required that you request a demonstration and training well in advance of your court date if you plan to use this technology. Please contact one of our IT Team Members below to find out which of our courtrooms are equipped with Digital Presentation systems and to schedule a training session or demonstration.
