THE 16TH JUDICIAL Circuit is currently recruiting for the position of OPS Senior Secretary. This position will be based in Key West with some travel to Marathon and Plantation Key.
This position is a 40 hour per week temporary position with no benefits scheduled to end June 30, 2011.
The Senior Secretary will review and track all foreclosure cases throughout Monroe County. Perform complex clerical/secretarial tasks, such as typing and processing orders; scheduling and coordinating hearing; assist with data collection; and act as liaison for the Court in the forward progression of these cases.
Must be computer proficient and have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Knowledge of the legal system and court procedures, a high school graduate plus 2 years of legal secretarial and/or clerical experience required.
The salary for this position is $12.48 per hour with no benefits.
